"Aadya" meaning "Origin" in Sanskrit is a fledgling organization with the mission of "making Traditional handloom, fashion".

We aim to work with the Weavers community across India and bring
rare, interesting cotton and silk weaves to the forefront.

Breaking Stereotypes:
A saree, unlike any other attire can be worn by anyone without having to think about age, caste, creed, color and is also on the way to breaking gender stereotypes. In today’s day and age where everyone is conscious about how they look and what they wear, Aadya’s sarees are meant for everyone and aims to make handloom fashion. “We are bringing back old designs and colors that you can only now see in your grandma's or mother’s closet” says Lakshmi as she shares with us her love for sarees. Sarees are made for India and its natural habitat and conditions. It lets us breathe and also keeps us warm based on whichever part of the country you are. You can also
pair up a saree with a crop top, a shirt, a T-shirt or a blouse and customize it based on your personality which gives you the flexibility like no other attire today.
